CD Reader BETA 0.8.2.0
Program Purpose:
This program written for recovering datas from corrupted cds and dvds. It can reread for recovery, but main goal of program is doing this very fast, also prevent computer become non-reacting. For this you must use CD-ROM drive thats data cable must not share hdd's cable. Using a CD-RW drive also speed up and can recover more data.
Program Status:
Now program status is BETA, so program can crash suddenly or program crash because of a cd. If cause is a cd, please use menu option "Export First 100 Sector" to create a file, then zip file and send to e-mail:alievrenkut@yahoo.com
If program does not see your CD-ROM drive, please download forceaspi18.zip file at web site download page below , unzip it to a folder and first start DUMPASPI.BAT then start INSTASPI.BAT file finally restart your windows. If needed you can change file WINASPI32.DLL in CD Reader program folder to another name. (For Undo: you can start RESTASPI.BAT and rename WINASPI32.DLL)

Installation:
Start setup file and follow instructions to install.
Program Usage:
Program`s have two ways of usage. Manual and automatic.
Manual one you;
1- Select CD drive for reading cd.
2- Click Read CD button for reading cd file structure
3- Select cd , folders, files you want to copy, You can do this by clicking on icons or using space, enter keys.
4- Select target drive to copy
5- Copy Selected Files button to copy
When copying you can use "II" button for pausing. "Pass File" button passes current file also you can click more than once for passing more than one file. "Stop" button ends copying process.
Also when copying you can`t close program using "X" or Exit from menu you must stop first copying.
In Automatic mode program starts copy all files from cd in selected drive to selected hdd. When copying finished for current cd program eject cd for copy another cd. If you put cd on tray and close it program automatically start to copy this new cd. Else if you close tray empty, program stops copying process automatically.
Options:
Default Dir: Directory name for directory target for copying cds to selected drive.
Priority: Priority of copying Thread, this setting became meaningful when copying cds when other programs running. If you set low program gets few cpu time. For example if you playing games you can set very low for playing game uninterrupted.
Retry Number: When program encounter an reading error, this option determines how many time it try to re-read.
Auto Skip File: Program can automatically skip erroneous files for faster copying, This option have four levels. 1 for high speed, 4 is recovering more datas. If you want to recover all possible datas you must switch this option off.
Auto Clear Log: Program clears log if you start an another copying process.
Print Sense Area: Gives an information about error. But it can not be understood easily by user. Purpose of this option for reporting to programmer.
Separate Erronous Files: If selected, program copy erronous files into another dir named <CDName>+Erronous Files. User can copy contents of this folder to original folder for obtain original file structure of cd.

Maximum Recovery -> Priority: Low,Retry Number 3;Auto Skip File:off
